I love how these pieces about writers’ desks are also mini-interviews of each writer (well, the living ones anyway), and really interesting looks into how each of them works. Great interview. I think Sandi sounds like a fun person to be around. Reading the interview made me go read her blog again and I recalled that she has posted a comment to your blog once and so I emailed her to tell her that I live in Santa Barbara, because, as I recall, she once lived in Santa Barbara too. Aaaaanyway, her blog is funny, her interview is funny and, although I’m not a writer, it’s interesting to see how people approach this whole writing thing. I have always wondered how people got ideas. I read on her blog that you guys met and had lunch and chatted and I am jealous that I couldn’t tag along.
